Backpacker is a Survival skill in Dying Light.
Overview[]
Kyle Crane receives four extra weapon slots and learns to utilize backpack space more effectively. An interesting thing to note is that different types of throwing weapons and utilities take up their own space within the player's weapon inventory. This means that not only can the player carry more melee weapons, they can also carry more miscellaneous secondaries.
This upgrade sadly does not affect bullet capacity. Due to the versatility of this skill, it is highly suggested that the player prioritizes on getting this skill first.

- This skill technically allows Kyle to carry 4 extra weapons of any kind or 4 stacks of any throwables meaning that his strength is essentially increased to superhuman levels by this upgrade. The same applies to Master Backpacker.
