A Baby is Born is a side quest available in Dying Light.[1]
Objectives[]
- Collect some alcohol to disinfect
- I brought some alcohol, but it seems it wasn't enough. Guess I can find some more.

- I found some more alcohol, but it's still not enough. He seems a bit overzealous to me. New father, I suppose.
- Collect more alcohol
- I brought even more of alcohol to the husband of the woman in labor. The man looked as if he was disinfecting his own digestive system.
- Check out what's going on in the flat
- It turned out that the so called father-to-be is merely giving birth to the mother of all hangovers. Tomorrow, they'll all be zombies.

Walkthrough[]
During this side quest, you'll hear a woman screaming. Upon knocking on the door, Macary will tell you his wife is having a baby and requires alcohol to sanitize equipment in preparation for the delivery.
You'll need to scavenge for alcohol bottles in Harran and return to him once you have acquired 3 bottles. This task must be completed 3 times to progress the quest. After each visit, it appears that Macary is becoming increasingly intoxicated. On the third visit, Crane becomes suspicious of Macary and decides to intervene.
Alcohol may be found randomly inside baskets, cabinets, freezers, biters or virals.
- You can find 2 bottles in his house, both in 2 separated freezers.
- You can scout 2 houses to find alcohol in cabinets or freezers.
- NOTE: You can have alcohol before starting this side quest to speed things up.
After giving him alcohol 3 times in a row an action becomes available to lockpick the door. Upon entering you notice there is no laboring wife but simply Macary and 3 other survivors having a party.

- This is possibly a joke quest targeting the Dead Island franchise's Continuous Events.
