Lucky Repair is a Survival skill available in Dying Light.
Overview[]
Lucky repair has a very powerful effect, allowing the player to use any melee weapon for longer. Depending on the durability, the usefulness of this skill may vary with less durable weapons being less favored than very durable weapons. And that is the problem with this skill.
It is incredibly unreliable and cannot be controlled. Worse still, the player still needs to repair a weapon, still using Metal parts in the process and still needing time to perform said repairs. Lastly this skill might also activate on less favorable weapons, wasting their chances on said weapons.
As such, it is best to avoid this skill until the player has access to large amounts reliable, durable, and powerful weapons in order to avoid this skill from going to waste. That or they want to have access to Nimble Hands.
